From Sep. 24 - Oct. 23, reserved seat tickets will be distributed by lottery at Tomorrowland Hall from Park opening. Note: All seats automatically assigned. Please bring Passport tickets used for Park admission for all members of your group. The lottery will end once all seats are assigned. 7/19/08 Winners spent Private Visit to Tokyo DisneySea

Winners spent Private Visit to Tokyo DisneySea

One lucky family spent Tokyo DisneySea 7:30AM to 10:00AM on July 18.
The Fukuyo family from Shizuoka Prefecture, Hisayasu Fukuyo (father, age 38), Sumiko Fukuyo (mother, age 33) and three 5 year-old triplets, Hayato, Momoka and Koki, was selected from 1,609 entries in the Magical Dreams 25 program.

The 150 cast members welcomed the Fukuyo family when they entered Tokyo DisneySea at 7:30AM. They enjoyed Aquatopia and etc.

All attractions were opened for them. According to Oriental Land Co., this was the first time to open the whole park for a private visit though they had opened partially the parks with fees for companies etc after regular operating hours. The operating cost for this event is secret.

3/09/08 Camp Nepos Closing on May 6, 2008

Camp Nepos will be closed on May 6. It is owned and operated by Oriental Land Co. in IKSPIARI. After its closure, for the purpose of development of children’s feelings and imaginations, OLC will make social contributions with Camp Nepos programs through kindergartens, nursery school and events in cities and prefectures. NeposHop! (Shop) and Nepos Kitchen (restaurant) will be also closed on the same day.

02/19/08 TDR Disneyana Fan Festival 2008 Results

According to Yomiuri Shinbun (Newspaper) on Feb 8, the total 92 groups (175 guests) joined the Tokyo Disney Resort Disneyana Fan Festival 2008 held on Feb 6&7, 2008. The forty-seven items were sold at 10,000,000 Yen (US$92,500). The highest bid was 1,050,000Yen (US$9,700) for a Stitch prop placed at Tokyo Disneyland during Lilo & Stitch’s Big Panic event.

Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary Celebration to Start in 2008
Tokyo Disney Resort will kick off its 25th Anniversary on April 15, 2008. Starting on this day, the entire Resort will come together as one to host the Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary special event, a yearlong extravaganza under the slogan of “Unlock Your Dreams.” Through a variety of programs and entertainment now under development for this very special year, Tokyo Disney Resort will provide guests with the keys to “unlocking,” or realizing, the dreams that they’ve always had in
their hearts.

Jack Sparrow Comes to Tokyo Disneyland Pirate of Caribbean Attraction on July 20, 2007
Oriental Land Co., Ltd. announced on March 23, 2007 that the characters from the Disney movie "Pirates of Caribbean" would appear at the renewed attraction "Pirates of Caribbean" of Tokyo Disneyland on July 20. Due to renewal, the attraction will be closed May 7 through July 19. In renewal, in addition to Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones from the 2nd movie "Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" and Captain Barbossa who revived surprisingly at the end of the movie, will also appear in the attraction.
